Benefits of neglecting the lawn

We had planned on getting a few portraits out of these two cuties together but babies have very eradic schedules. There was a moment when they both seemed happy so we just went out into the backyard, threw the chair in my two week old lawn, and started firing. My goal was to throw the background out completely. At f/1.8 I accomplished this easily. I learned a lesson about depth of field though. New rule: when there are two subjects (two sets of eyes), use a smaller aperature.

Although they won’t print large, I’m happy with the results overall. This was mostly an exercise in composition and quick response to a rare moment.

You would only be able to edit a comment that you made while logged in. Try editing the commend you just made. And why in the world would you use your employee number as your user name? lol
